Over the past year of thinking about and watching this flat Earth resurgence, I have grown quite a bit both in patience as well as understanding of human nature. (Jokingly referred to by one commentator as "200 Examples of Eric Dubay Not Understanding Basic Geometry or Physics.") I'm convinced that without free, easy online video, we would not be talking about flat Earth. Not unless YouTube goes away taking with it all variations of the Eric Dubay video, "200 proofs the earth isn't a spinning globe." That's the video that seems to have restarted the flat earth craze. As much as I wished this idea was a fad that would quickly pass (like it did five centuries ago with progress in science and education), I accept now that's not going to happen. These type of comments started arriving in 2015 and have only increased over the last year. Flat-Earthers think my book cover is incorrect to show a globe earth. ![]()
